Cancelled due to COVID-19 worldwide outbreak pandemic. We will try again next April 2021 during frog breeding season.
What better way to welcome spring than to wade in the waters of our glacial pond in search of the season’s first choristers: Spring Peepers, Chorus frogs and Wood frogs. Maybe we’ll find a Leopard frog or American toad! This is a great evening event for families to learn about, catch and release frogs! Bring your wading boots and dress for the weather.
Fee per person: $3/Dahlem member and $5/nonmember
If the air temperature is too cold for frogs to be active, then the event will be cancelled. Please keep your fingers crossed for a warm spring evening!
