Life Under a Log Program is for children ages 1-5 years old attending with an adult caregiver.
Program Description: Some people might see just a mushy, rotten log. We see a fascinating habitat for all kinds of organisms. We see a very important step in the life cycle of nature and a fascinating science lesson. Look for yourself! Our time will be spent outdoors starting with a story, A Log’s Life followed by a walk in the forest to investigate life in and under logs, among leaf litter, under rocks, and down into the soil. You’ll be amazed at what we find hiding in dark places!
Fee per Program: $8 per child ($5 Dahlem member); free for adult caregiver & infants. Additional children older than 5 years are charged the program fee.
Advanced Registration Required. Please register online at www.dahlemcenter.org/events or call 517-782-3453 to reserve your spot for you and your mighty naturalist(s). Payment due upon registration.
