Journey into Michigan’s Old Growth Forests: How to discover, embrace, and preserve them – with Leona Addie

Leona Addie works as the Great Lakes Regional Manager for the Old-Growth Forest Network, a national nonprofit focused on protecting, celebrating and sharing experiences in our nation’s oldest forests. For this presentation, we’ll learn to identify features of old-growth forests, where to find them, discuss their importance to the community and water, and how to help protect them.Conservation Lecture Series schedule graphic.

Presentation begins at 6 p.m. at the Dahlem Center, 7117 South Jackson Rd.
