Let’s explore and use our night senses! Join Ella Sharp Museum and Dahlem, Jackson’s Nature Place for a wonderful night under the stars!
The nature walk, led by Dahlem Naturalist Educator, Carrie Benham, will explore how plants and animals are preparing for the warmer months ahead of us, share information about nocturnal animals and the senses they use, and share how we as humans can better develop our own senses and awareness during the night.
Ella Sharp Museum will be providing a virtual night sky tour by our Planetarium Operator and STEM Educator, Travis Marlow. We will be observing what the night sky looks like where we are and learning tricks and tools to use to better understand the night sky above us.
Tickets are nonrefundable. In the event of a rainy day, tickets will be applied to a rescheduled date. If attendees must cancel, their credit can be applied to other events EXCEPT the Art, Beer, and Wine Festival. Recommended for ages 12+.
Proceeds from this program benefit both the Dahlem Center and Ella Sharp Museum. Your ticket supports this program and future programming.
